OVEN BAKED CHICKEN THIGHS - The best oven baked chicken thighs are crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. This easy one pan recipe is made with just a few ingredients. These easy baked chicken thighs are perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy!
Baked Chicken Thighs are quick to throw together with only a few ingredients, ready in less than 30 minutes. With a mouthwatering honey soy sauce, this is the perfect weeknight or weekend dinner recipe!

Ingredients

  • 6  chicken thighs, recommend bone-in, skin-on
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4  cloves  garlic, minced
  • 1  tablespoon  soy sauce, low-sodium recommended
  • 2  tablespoons  white vinegar
  • 1/3  cup  sugar
  • 1/4  cup  water

Instructions

  1. First, In a large bowl, season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Then set aside.
  2. Then, In a medium bowl, mix together soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic and water.
  3. Then, Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, or optionally marinate the chicken for 30 minutes up to 8 hours in the fridge.
  4. And then, Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  5. Remove chicken thighs from the sauce and allow any excess to drip off. Then arrange on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. 
  7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Cover with aluminum foil or parchment during this time.
  8. Serve over rice, pasta, or potatoes with vegetables. Garnish with minced parsley and/or a sprinkle of paprika if desired.
